And Now, For The Winter Of Our Discontent
Well, this blog had a short and happy life.
Frank McKenna chose family over the cheezy lure of national politics. He will not be running for the Liberal leadership. He will not be a guest on this blog. He will not be moving to 24 Sussex. But all of this is fine, because Frank has quite rightly recognized that life is about more than the great game of politics, even though he was one of its finest national players. This blogger (if not all New Brunswickers) wish him and Julie well.
A final, parting wish? If we can assure him that he would have only half-time responsibilities, can we draft Frank to return as NB Premier? He could do that job in his sleep, and still fare better than the current incumbent...
